That’s why we decided to try out something different and cost effective. A staycation within the city yes, but at a very relaxing spot for a much needed breeze at Waridi Paradise Hotel and Suites.

A Warm Welcome

We had made a reservation a day earlier to check in on Friday night that way we had a whole Saturday to explore the hotel and half a Sunday to wake up late:) We got to the hotel a few minutes past 8 pm .We were warmly greeted and welcomed upon our arrival. It was an easy process to check in, unload our bags, and take them to our room on the fourth floor. Watch Hotel Tour here.

The Suite

The suite was so spacious and well lit  that we did a few cartwheels across the floor! The wooden floor of the apartment freshly glossed gives a playful reflection of everything on top of it tickling every cleans freak’s fantasy .It came with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry area, balcony, living area, bedroom and a dining area. Not only was it perfect for a couple traveling together, but it would be ideal for families or group of friends.. Since these was a short stay we opted to eat at their Mama’s Restaurant and had a chef prepare meals for us in our kitchen for the days we stayed there.

One of the best parts of this suite was the view. There are two large bay windows at the front of the room that overlook the city. The living room opens up to a large balcony ideal for some relaxation and catching up on a novel. If you’re staying with a larger group or feel like socializing the balconies are a  great place to connect.

Waridi Paradise Hotel had a health club comprising of  a gym, steam and sauna. A great way to get pampered and blow off steam off a stressful week.

Outside there was a swimming pool set a beautiful garden which is open to walk in visitors who want to swim or have a meal at their restaurant.

Waridi Paradise was cozy, comfortable, and within walking distance of most amenities. Furthermore, it’s perfect for sight seeing to nearby must visit destinations, like the Nairobi safari walk, David Sheldrick Trust and Giraffe Center.

With the warm hospitality of the staff to the quietness of the hotel, our stay could not have been any better.
