It had been on our list of ‘top places to visit’ for years! And it seems we crossed our fingers hard enough because we got to explore the magical Amboseli National Park early this year. We stayed at – a luxury boutique lodge Oltukai Lodge located inside the park.
Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. It’s one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, the Savannah and woodlands. You can also visit the local Masai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
Here are some photos that may inspire you to visit Amboseli.
